Structurally Constrained Effective Brain Connectivity

The approach achieves effective connectivity by highlighting structural brain tracts actually used according to functional MRI time seriers.

With this tool we want to highlight the tracts that are "effectively" used by functional time series
The demo in this page is based on chord representation, where each arc in the circle graph represent a brain connetion.
We only show direct connection though our effective connectivity estimate takes into account indirect connections.
This demo assumes the parcellation as Gordon ROIs.
At the bottom you can load your own adjacency matrices with the same labels.

The interactive graph shows the impact of the method. For the same subject, Left: Original connectome. Right: Connections effectively used. Move the mouse over the areas to see the effect .
